Upper East Side does not have a built-in audience for jazz, so if there's to be another gig in this area I'll have to work on attracting more people.

I have a lot of gratitude for the players. I think I can write decent charts, but the players turn it into music. I'm still intimidated by the skill level they have.

The book is actually pretty hard to play, and they need a better leader!
